My goal is to create an environment in which students are free to explore without preconceived judgement. This process allows you to trust your own instincts, which is essential to good acting.
I am fascinated by each student's story and individuality. I view each relationship with my students as an opportunity to find their potential while at the same time expose their mental blocks so that they can work through them more effectively.
Although most actors are not
aware of it, acting is a spiritual practice. Actors transform their
inner being into art. As a beginner, you will be faced with the
complexity of your inner-life and how to accept it.
On the stage you are raw and
exposed. As you progress, the more you relax on stage, the more you
will be able to interact with other actors organically. This process
leads you to a greater understanding of human nature. Your compassion
for yourself and others will increase and you will grow in ways you
never imagined!
